The usual closures will be in effect on Thanksgiving Monday, as it’s a Stat holiday in Ontario.
Most retail outlets and government offices are closed.
That includes North Bay City Hall.
Officials say there’s no curbside garbage or recycling collection that day, resulting in pick-up being delayed by one day next week.
North Bay Transit is not running on Monday either, with buses resuming regular service on Tuesday.
Also of note, the Merrick Landfill, which is closed on Monday because of the holiday, has switched to its winter hours.
That means it is not open on Sundays.
