The Ontario Hockey League has announced that the Sudbury Wolves have been sold to businessman Dario Zulich, pending approval from the league’s board of governors.
The deal is believed to be in the $10-million dollar range
The Wolves have been owned and operated by the Burgess and Edwards families for the past 30 years, the longest-serving owners in the OHL.
Zulich, out of respect for the approval process, says he will not comment further on this matter until the league’s Board of Governors takes action on this in mid-August.
