The Powassan Voodoos are back on the ice this weekend to officially start the 2016-17 season today.
After fitness testing Friday, players are on the ice at the Powassan Sportsplex Saturday and Sunday.
They have three exhibition games next week beginning with the OJHL’s Kingston Voyageurs on Monday afternoon at 2:30pm.
Then, the Voodoos will play their regional rival the French River Rapids in a home and home series later in the week.
