The North Bay AAA midget Trappers open the 2016-17 season this weekend at home versus the Timmins Majors.
Game one is scheduled for 7:00pm on Saturday night at the West Ferris Arena, with game 2 to follow on Sunday morning at 11:00am at Memorial Gardens.
The team will be playing the majority of their home games at the Gardens this year.
Long time bench boss Guy Blanchard will lead the team this season.
