Parker Bowman scored the overtime winner as the Powassan Voodoos edged the Cochrane Crunch 3-2 Monday night at the Powassan Sportsplex.
The Voodoos fell behind 2-0 in the second period, before Gary Mantz scored to cut the deficit to one. Then two minutes into the third period Andy Baker even the score with his third goal of the season.
Deep in overtime, with less than a minute to go Bowman ripped one home to give the Voodoos the victory. The Voodoos win improves their record to 3-1 on the season. Next up is a quick trip down the road to Timmins, where they’ll take on the Rock on Thursday.
