The Powassan Voodoos secured their 6th win of the season in a blowout 7-1 victory over the French River Rapids Monday night at the Sportsplex. Tyler Gervais-Rolfe, Kyle Challis, Tyson Gilmour and Ryan Theriault all had a goal and an assist in the win. Nate McDonald made 18 saves in the win.
Andy Baker, Dylan D’Agostino and Rhys Brown had the other goals for the Voodoos who improve to 6-2-0-1 on the season. The Voodoos sit in 3rd place overall in the NOJHL. Powassan is back in action on Friday, when they travel to French River for a rematch with the Rapids.
