The North Bay Battalion finally have their first home win of the season. They beat the Niagara Ice Dogs 4-3 yesterday at Memorial Gardens.
The Battalion outshot the IceDogs 36-19. Brett McKenzie had two goals and an assist. He also scored the game winner. Brett Hargrave and Cam Dineen also scored for the Troops in the victory. Brent Moran, who’s started all five games so far for the Troops, got the win in net.
It was a good long weekend overall, the Troops also beat the Sault Ste Marie Grey Hounds on Saturday. They’ll look to make it two in a row at home against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Thursday.
