Battalion end weekend with a split, fall back under .500

The North Bay Battalion finished the weekend with a split, after being beaten 1-0 by the Kingston Frontenac’s yesterday. Goaltender Brent Moran made 28 saves in the loss; the Troops first on the road this season.

They came from behind to beat the Ottawa 67’s 2-1 in Ottawa on Saturday. The loss drops the Troops record to 4-5, 3-1 on the road and 1-4 on home ice.

The Battalion will return home Thursday, looking to make home ice matter when they battle the Ottawa 67’s.
