The Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey team didn’t waste any time getting back into the win column after suffering their first loss of the season. After a tough 3-1 loss Saturday, the Lakers responded with a come-from-behind 3-2 overtime victory Sunday versus the York Lions to split the weekend. The Lakers now sit in first place in the OUA at 5-1-0.
The Lakers now hit the road for three games, next weekend in Laurier versus the Golden Hawks and Waterloo against the Warriors, before heading to Sudbury to face Laurentian on November 12th. Nipissing returns back home on November 18th and 19th to face Guelph and Brock.
