Make it nine straight wins for the Powassan Voodoos. The Voodoos defeated the Elliot Lake Wildcats 2-0 at the Powassan Sportsplex last night.
Gary Mantz and Andy Baker scored for the Voodoos. Goaltender Nick Campbell, fresh off being named the NOJHL’s Goaltender of the Month for October, made 17 saves for the shutout.
The win also moves the Voodoos into sole possession of first spot in the NOJHL with an impressive record of 16-3-1.
