Game 3 of the 2016 CIBC Canada/Russia series goes tonight in North Bay

The OHL and Russia’s best hockey players have made their way to North Bay tonight for Game 3 of the CIBC Canada Russia Series. The first two games of the series were split out west between team WHL and team Russia.

Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Mitchell Stephens of the Saginaw Spirit has been named captain for Team OHL in both games against the Russian’s. Anthony Cirelli of the Oshawa Generals and Matthew Spencer of the Peterborough Petes will be the alternate captains tonight for Team OHL.

A few members of the Battalion will represent the team tonight, forward Brett MacKenzie and head coach Stan Butler who is serving as an assistant. Puck drop tonight is set for 7:00pm.
