Adam Thilander scored the shootout winning goal to give the North Bay Battalion a huge 4-3 victory over the Barrie Colts yesterday.
The Troops blew an early 3-1 lead, but managed to find a way to win with backup Matt Woroniuk in the net for only the 5th time this season. Zach Poirer, Brett Hargrave, and Steve Harland were the goal scorers for the Battalion.
The Troops still sit atop the Central division with 26 points (12-9-2), five points ahead of the Sudbury Wolves (10-12-1). The Battalion are back in action at Memorial Gardens on Thursday against Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
