Beat-up Battalion return home for a game against the Ottawa 67s

The North Bay Battalion are back in action tonight against the Ottawa 67s. The Troops are still sitting atop the Central Division, with a record of 15-14-2 with two games to go before the Christmas break.

The Troops are dealing with a serious case of the injury bug. Cam Dineen was injured in a knee-on-knee collision during Friday’s 5-2 loss on the road in Oshawa. Jacob Ball is out with a shoulder injury, and Zach Poirier will be out for the at least two games after a slew foot call on Sunday versus Windsor. Max Kislinger is healthy but unavailable as he is with Team Germany at the Division 1 Group A World Junior Hockey Championships.

The Battalion will also have New Liskeard Cubs goaltender Ty Sparling dressed to back up Julian Sime Thursday night. Puck drop at Memorial Gardens is at 7:00pm.
