Voodoos look to head into Christmas with their winning streak in tact

The Powassan Voodoos look to finish strong before the Christmas break when they take on the Iroquois Falls Eskis tonight at 7:30pm. The Voodoos will look to continue their lengthy winning streak, currently sitting at 22 straight victories.

The Voodoos went head to head against the second best team in the NOJHL on Saturday, the Soo Thunderbirds, and beat them 5-3. Goaltender Nate McDonald made 34 saves in the victory, running his personal record to 19-2 on the season.

As a result of the victory, the Voodoos sit at 59 points, six points up on the Thunderbirds with two games in hand heading into tonight’s game.
