North Bay Battalion head to Kitchener looking to get back in the win column

The North Bay Battalion will look to bump a two game losing streak tonight when they travel to Kitchener to take on the Rangers. The Rangers won the only meeting between the two teams this season, 6-3 at Memorial Gardens back on September 30th. The Troops are tied with the Niagara Ice Dogs for the last playoff spot in the East with 39 points. Thanks to a game in hand, the Battalion would get in if the season ended today.

Head Coach Stan Butler says he hasn’t been in this position in a while. He says it’s a concern and his players have to play with a sense of urgency. Butler says when the difference between making the playoffs or missing them could come down to one or two points, you don’t want to leave points on the table.

Puck drop tonight is set for 7:30pm.
