North Bay Battalion drop fourth straight against Peterborough

Jonathan Ang scored the winner with less than five minutes left in regulation to give the Peterborough Petes a 2-1 victory over the North Bay Battalion. Zach Shankar scored the lone goal for the Troops, and Brent Moran made 27 saves in the loss.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Battalion. They remain tied with Niagara for the final playoff spot in the East, and own the tiebreaker due a game in hand. The Troops are back in action on Thursday against the Sarnia Sting.
