It`s a David vs Goliath match-up in the NOJHL tonight, with the 36-6-1-1 Powassan Voodoos taking on the 1-38-1-1 French River Rapids. The Voodoos are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Cochrane Crunch on Monday night. The Rapids are also coming off a 5-2 loss to the Crunch last Sunday.
Only 12 games remain in the NOJHL regular season, and Powassan still have a five point lead (with four games in hand) over the Crunch for 1st overall in the Eastern Conference. Powassan also remain 1st overall in the league ahead of the aforementioned Crunch, and the top team in the Western Conference the Soo Thunderbirds.
Tonight`s game is in French River, and puck drop at the Noelville Arena is set for 7:30pm.
