Local bowlers’ ages 5 to 19 representing Partners Bowling in North Bay swept the gold medals in all team categories in the 2nd step of the YBC National Championships zone round this past Sunday at various bowling centres throughout the region.
Overall, they captured 8 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal. The gold medal winners will be moving on to the next round at the Northern Ontario Provincials to be held in Timmins on March 4th and 5th.

• Senior Boys Team: Liam Smith, Dylan Grant, Thomas Williams, Cody Edmunds, Coach Flipper Smith
• Combo Girls Team 1: Alexis Lamb, Gillian Widdop, Shelby Gaudreau, Coach Remi Levasseur
• Combo Boys Team 2: Daniel Baker, Austin Gaudreau, Christopher MacLean, Coach Ginette MacLean

The 26 Gold Medal winners will be joining previous gold medal winner in the Singles division, Sadie Tremblay, for an opportunity to qualify for the Nationals.
