North Bay Battalion return to action tonight against the Guelph Storm

The North Bay Battalion are back in action tonight when they take on the Guelph Storm. The injury plagued Troops woke up this morning in 9th place in the Eastern Conference, a single point behind the Niagara Icedogs but with two games in hand. The Battalion visit Niagara on Saturday night and the Oshawa Generals on Sunday night.

Head Coach Stan Butler says obviously, Saturday’s a huge game, but they can’t look past Thursday. Butler says they’ve got to find a way to win every game that they can. He says Guelph’s not a bad team, they’re just in a really, really tough division. Butler says defenceman Brady Lyle may see action this week. Of the defenceman currently out of the lineup, he’s the only one close to returning to action.

Puck drop tonight at Memorial Gardens is at 7:00pm.
