Powassan Voodoos clinch top spot in the NOJHL after beating Iroqouis Falls

The Powassan Voodoos clinched top spot overall in the NOJHL on Monday night with a 5-2 win over the visiting Iroquois Falls Eskis.

Brett Hahkala, fresh off of three games played with the North Bay Battalion over the weekend, came back from the call up with a hat trick to pace the Voodoos offence. Dylan D’Agostino and Ryan Theriault had the other goals for the Voodoos.

The game was also the last home contest of the regular season as the Voodoos will finish off their final four regular season on the road with a northern swing this weekend and then next Wednesday they close out the regular season with a visit to French River to face the Rapids.
