Steve Harland helps lead the North Bay Battalion past the Sudbury Wolves

A pair of Steve Harland goals helped the North Bay Battalion get a big 4-2 win over the Sudbury Wolves last night. Rhys Forhan and Daniil Vertiy also scored, while Brad Chenier got two assists and goaltender Brent Moran provided made 32 saves in the victory.

The win gives North Bay 52 points on the season, tied with the Niagara Icedogs and just one back of the Wolves in the standings. Niagara has a game in hand on the Troops, so they remain on the outside of the playoffs looking in. The Troops only have five games remaining in the regular season.

Head Coach Stan Butler says it was one of their better games for 60 minutes. Butler says Sudbury is a highly skilled team, and they had to play well. He says Moran had a great game, and they need him to play the way he played last night every night. The Battalion will have a couple of days off before heading to Barrie to take on the Colts at 7:30 pm on Saturday night.
