Powassan Voodoos wrap up round robin at the Dudley-Hewitt against Georgetown this afternoon

The Powassan Voodoos edged out the Dryden GM Ice Dogs 4-3 to pick up their first win of the Dudley-Hewitt Cup yesterday. Parker Bowman scored shorthanded in the third period to give the Voodoos the lead, and it stood up as the game-winner. Andy Baker, Gabriel Rheault, and Dayton Murray had the other goals in the Voodoos victory.

The Voodoos play their final round robin game this afternoon at 2:30pm against the Georgetown Raiders. Only three of the four teams at the tournament will move onto the playoff stage after the round robin. The team that finishes in 3rd will take on the team that finished in 2nd in a semi-final tomorrow at 7:30pm. Whoever comes out of top of that game will move onto the championship final against team that finishes in 1st place on Saturday night.
