Three young North Bay bowlers from Partners Bowling are off to the provincial championships. They are Sadie Tremblay, Ethan Ransom and Liam Smith. All three won gold at a weekend tournament in Haileybury. Tremblay and Ranson competed in the Bantam Girls and Boys division respectively and Smith took part in the Senior Boys class. The trio represent the Gateway zone at the provincials next March which take place in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls. In total, 19 young people from Partners Bowling took part in the Haileybury event including Thomas Williams who came home with a silver in the seniors division. Williams is a previous YBC Nationals participant.
