BANK ROBBERY UPDATE: Police seeking getaway footage from public

The North Bay Police Service is attempting to track down the man and woman wanted in connection with a bank robbery at the CIBC on Main Street West yesterday morning.

The male is described as 5’8” to 6 feet, unshaven, and slim. During the robbery, he was wearing a ball cap, sunglasses and a black coat with white on the chest and down the arms, with red on the inside of the forearms.

The female is 5’5” to 5’8” and has a slim build. She also was wearing sunglasses during the robbery, a ball cap with “FAMOUS” written on it, and a camo style coat and a black vest.

The getaway vehicle is believed to be a 2004 – 2006 GMC Sierra 4X4, not a Chevy Silverado as initially reported, which travelled from Ferguson Street to Chippewa Street, up Fisher Street and then south on Highway 11.

Anyone with dash cameras that may have captured the vehicle in that area is asked to contact Detective Constable Darcy Wall at the North Bay Police Service.
