The Kabuki House rising from the ashes

A story in resilience.

Less than six months after the devastating fire at the Kabuki House, great news for North Bay.

The March fire caused $400,000 in damages to the beloved downtown restaurant and the building had to be demolished in June.

It has been a week since the loss of our Kabuki House. We wish to thank everyone who has posted such kind and thoughtful wishes. We are grateful for all the client support over the years. We were able to build our dream here, raise a family in a wonderful community, living in Blue Sky country, close to woodlands of birch and pine, call of the loon, traces of Canada geese moving across the sky and the most amazing sunsets ever!

Thank you North Bay! Thank you to all our dedicated staff over the years, we could not have done this without you. It’s been a wonderful journey!

With gratitude.
Marika and Masa.
