Gas price hike before 2019?

It was nice while it lastedĀ if gas prices do jump before 2019.

You might want to fill up your tank before the weekend while gas can still be found in the area at the lowest prices seen in a year-and-a-half.

As of posting time, in North Bay and surrounding areas,Ā six gas stations are reporting the price of regular gas to be below one dollar per litre, including the Shell and Canadian Tire gas bars on Algonquin Avenue. The other four sub-dollar fuelling spots are located west of the city on Highway 17, including Chester’s, the lowest listed at 92.7.

The price of fuel is down about 17 cents from this time last year in Ontario but the recent trend of dipping prices is likely to stop before the weekend, according to fuel price analysts for GasBuddy.com. The fuel pricing website says global oil prices are at their lowest in over a year due to concerns about an economic recession and prices are expected to remain unstable well into 2019.
