From OPP on Twitter, vehicles are being turned back from Mattawa. Police say the only way to pass is to use the detour following Highway 11 at Huntsville and Highway 60 at Renfrew (or vice versa). Reports say the road is washed out at Bissett Creek and remains closed east to Deep River. The washout at Bissett Creek will likely take until at least tomorrow to repair, according to officials familiar with the extent of the damage.

Earlier in the day we had Hwy 60 down to one lane by Hwy 127 near Madawaska – As of right now that has cleared no major delays on Hwy 60 through the park that I can see. ^ag
