North Bay Police has arrested a woman in relation to a downtown assault from early October.

A 44-year-old woman from North Bay has been arrested and charged with one count of assault. She was located on October 19 and arrested without incident. The accused has been released from custody and will appear in court in North Bay on November 26.

Originally, the accused was being sought because she had allegedly pushed and started swearing at another woman who was putting something into the trunk of her car.

The victim removed herself from the situation and called 911, but by the time police had arrived, the accused had left the area.
