Military Appreciation Night is set for Saturday at North Bay Memorial Gardens for the 11th straight year.
The Nipissing Lakers men’s hockey team will be hosting the Royal Military College (RMC) Paladins. The team will wear camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game.
All the proceeds from the jersey auction will go towards the local Military Family Resource Centre.
The Lakers also take on RMC Friday night in the first half of the back to back.
The women’s team will host their own Military Appreciation Night on January 18 when the Waterloo Warriors visit the Gardens. The jerseys used in that game will also be auctioned off.
