The North Bay Police Service is reporting charges have been filed in relation to a homicide investigation that began Dec. 17.
Two men were arrested on Friday, Dec. 23.
Police report 29-year-old Brandon John Nakogee of North Bay and 33-year-old Trevor John Goulais of no fixed address are both charged with one count each of second degree murder.
Goulais also faces one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
Both men are scheduled for bail hearings on Dec. 24, 2022 before the presiding Justice at Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court.
The North Bay Police Service is thanking the public for their assistance in this investigation.
Police earlier reported that in the early morning hours of Dec. 17 a 33-year-old city man, who was suffering from serious injuries, was located in the area of Fraser Street and Worthington Street West.
He was transported to the North Bay Regional Health Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
