The Nipissing Lakers women’s hockey team lost 1-0 in overtime to York in game one of their OUA playoff series Wednesday night.
The Lakers outshot the Lions 44-26 in the game.
Nipissing needs a win in game two Friday morning (11:30 am) in Toronto to force a third and deciding game on Saturday night in Powassan.
In OUA men’s volleyball, Nipissing won a play-in game 3-2 over Waterloo to advance to the playoffs.
The Lakers will play McMaster on Saturday night in Hamilton.
