Former North Bay Fire Chief Edward “Ted” McCullough has passed away.
The Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs shared the news on Monday.
McCullough’s career brought him to North Bay in 1990, where he served as Fire Chief for 18 years.
According to his obituary, he passed away suddenly on February 14 in Costa Rica.
Current Fire Chief Jason Whiteley (WHITE-lee) says Chief McCullough’s leadership was instrumental in the modernizing and updating of North Bay Fire’s equipment and facilities.
