One of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers is GINCOR Werx

GINCOR Werx, which operates in 11 communities including Mattawa, is one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers.

Organized by Mediacorp Canada, the list recognizes small and medium enterprises offering the nation’s best workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies. Employers were reviewed on eight criteria, including Work Atmosphere & Social, Health, Financial & Family Benefits, Vacation & Time Off, and more.

GINCOR Werx custom manufactures vocational vehicles, with products including dump bodies, work-ready trucks, snow and ice equipment, and more.

“It’s a people-first organization. We take care of our people, and our people take care of others — that’s definitely a part of our mantra,” says Luc Stang, president and CEO. “If you have the right character, aptitudes and attitude, we will move mountains to help you succeed.”

Officials highlight comprehensive mental and physical health programs, flexible working hours and time off, profit sharing and bonuses along with investing heavily in employee development and growth.

Stang adds there are three generations of related employees working at the company, which speaks to GINCOR Werx’s commitment to its employees.
