The Nipissing West OPP has charged a 17-year-old after seizing an imitation air pistol and a bottle of liquor.
Provincial police say just before 9 pm on Sunday, officers responded to reports of a person with a handgun on Ethel Street in West Nipissing.
As a result of the investigation, the youth was charged with possession of an imitation weapon and for being under 19 with liquor.
The accused has a future court appearance in North Bay.
