What has become a new tradition in Downtown North Bay is back for a third year in November.

The Winter Outdoor Market Experience takes place three Saturday evenings that month (Nov. 7, 14 and 21), with a fourth market coinciding with the Old-Fashioned Downtown Christmas Walk on Friday, Nov. 27.

Located outside at Jack Burrows Square in front of the North Bay Museum, residents and visitors are invited to wander through twinkling lights, sip on something warm and explore an ever-changing collection of talented makers, artisans and producers.

The festive event will also showcase live entertainment, seasonal treats and family-friendly programming.

“The Winter Outdoor Market Experience has become much more than a market – we are continuing to create new and magical experiences that encourages both residents and visitors to return each weekend and discover everything our community has to offer throughout the winter months,” says Tanya Bédard, Executive Director, Tourism North Bay. “All while supporting local entrepreneurs who make North Bay’s creative community shine.”

The Maker’s Market joins Tourism North Bay as the event’s new market partner, bringing a thriving community of local vendors and a shared passion for showcasing Northern Ontario creativity.

“We’re excited to be part of the Winter Outdoor Market Experience and look forward to helping bring the magic, joy, and spirit of the holiday season to North Bay,” says Melanie Chenier, Owner & Operator, The Maker’s Market. “Together, we hope to create a festive shopping experience that celebrates local makers and inspires the community to shop local this Christmas.”

Vendor applications are now being accepted online.

Programming announcements and additional event details will be shared over the coming months.
