Highlighting an abundance of fall experiences

Tourism officials continue to challenge the notion that North Bay is a place with nothing to do.

In fact, they say nothing could be further from the truth. The next seasonal chapter of Tourism North Bay’s sarcastic ‘Nothing. Nowhere. Everywhere.’ campaign has arrived, just ahead of fall.

Officials say from brilliant fall colours and outdoor adventures to harvest-inspired dining and a packed calendar of events, the season offers plenty for visitors and residents.

Some of the seasonal offerings include the Fall Colours Tour at Laurentian Ski Hill with chairlift rides over the fall colours, tower climbs, fall hikes, live music, bonfires and S’mores.

Taste The Bay’s Fall Harvest Experience is back for a second year and runs from Sept. 14 to Oct. 31.

Area restaurants are offering specially curated three-course menus ranging from $35 to $55, including everything from lakefront dining and farm-to-table dishes to international flavours and homestyle comfort food.

Other seasonal offerings also include the Bay Beats Music Festival and the North Bay Farmers’ Market Fall Fair, haunted walks and pumpkin patch tours in the area.
