The District of Nipissing Social Service Administration Board (DNSSAB) is hosting a community conversation June 28 to learn how it can better meet early years and child care needs of families in the Nipissing District. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
The conversation will focus on the needs of children and their caregivers, whether they’re parents, grandparents, or soon to be parents:
- What types of services and supports are needed?
- What are their experiences with early years and child care?
- Have any experienced barriers to these services?
The event takes place on Thursday, June 28 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the EarlyON Centre at 171 Chippewa Street W. Child minding will be provided at the site. Registration is required, as space is limited. People can register online here. Please specify the number of children that will be accompanying you.

Future opportunities for engagement will be made available throughout the summer and fall, both in person and online. Conversations will be held throughout the District.
