Police say they have cracked the case of a missing safe.
Last week, members of the West Nipissing OPP detachment, with assistance from the West Nipissing OPP Crime Unit, executed an arrest for a suspect linked to a missing safe worth approximately $90,000. The safe had been stolen earlier this summer out of a residence on Burnt Lake Road in Sturgeon Falls.
A 46-year-old Sturgeon Falls male has been charged with:
- Theft over $5,000
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sturgeon Falls on October 3.
