Strong wind and freezing rain to keep Laurentian Ski Hill closed on Monday

Expected bad weather is forcing Laurentian Ski Hill to close on Monday.

The combination of high wind and freezing rain will make for poor skiing conditions so staff decided to keep the hill closed.

Monday is calling for wind gusts as strong as 60 kilometres an hour coupled with freezing rain which is expected to turn to ice pellets in the afternoon.

Monday’s closure has also forced the cancellation of all ski camps.
