North Bay man charged after December collision in Sundridge

The Almaguin Highlands OPP has charged a North Bay man after a December collision in Sundridge.

Police say just before 9:00 a.m. on December 23rd, a car collided with a lamp post at the corner of Highway 124 and John Street. There were four people inside the vehicle at the time, with one having to go to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation resulted in the 26-year-old being charged with:

  • Adult Mischief Endangering Life- Three Counts
  • Adult Dangerous Operation
  • Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance-Other Drugs- Three Counts
  • Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Other Drugs- Two Counts

The accused has a court date in Parry Sound on January 24th.

Assisting in the investigation were OPP Reconstructionist, Technical Collision Investigators, and the Almaguin Highlands Crime Unit.
