After screening most of their films online last year the North Bay Film Festival is returning to a fully in-person event this year.
The 7th annual festival runs Nov. 25-27 at the Capitol Centre, starting with a double dose of Canadian cinema on the first night.
All told, nine feature films and nine juried Canadian shorts will be screened over the three-day event.
Festival officials say they have a stellar lineup of critically-acclaimed, award-winning cinema.
They say they’re dedicated to presenting the best of contemporary cinema that mainly highlights the work of Canadian, Indigenous, and Northern Ontarian filmmakers.
“Our mission is to shine a spotlight on new perspectives, marginalized voices, and bold artistic visions,” states a release.
The schedule is available at www.northbayfilmfestival.ca.
Festival passes and individual tickets are now available online or at the Capitol Centre box office.
