Military officials say minor traffic delays on Airport Road, near the Air Defence Park, can be expected Thursday morning.
From 6 am until 9 am members of 22 Wing/CFB North Bay and volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations for the North Bay Food Bank.
The military says a table will be available to deposit donated food items while cash donations will be collected using cans attached to hockey sticks.
This is the 12th year that 22 Wing is teaming up with the Food Banks’ My Team Cares program, formally known as Coach4Food, to collect donations.
Officials say every dollar donated is the equivalent of one pound of food.
