Making over Main Street project resumes on Monday.
The City says two construction crews will be deployed to complete both Block 3 at Ferguson Street from Main to Oak, and BLock 2, from Ferguson to Fraser. Once that’s done, the work will shift to Block 1 – between Fraser and Cassells.
Work will begin at 7am and wrap at 7pm on weekdays until the end of October.
The City says vehicle traffic won’t be permitted on the block that’s under construction and detours will be in place.

Like last year, the businessess remain open.
The project sees the reconstruction of above-ground infrastructure like roads, curbs, crosswalks and more.
The nearly $9 million dollar project began last may. It’s the first major rehabilitation of Main Street in 40 years.
