On November 1, at 2:41 pm, the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the received a call about screaming coming from an apartment in East Ferris Township.
Officers began an investigation when they had arrived on the scene. Findings from the investigation revealed that a physical altercation had taken place between a man and his girlfriend. As a result, the man has been charged with assault.
The accused has been released on a promise to appear with a date to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on November 14.
