Sandbag stations in the City of North Bay remain available this week due to ongoing flood potential along the Lake Nipissing shoreline.

The state of emergency was lifted Thursday in Chisholm Township. Meantime, the city says sandbag filling stations will be operating again this weekend in North Bay as Lake Nipissing water levels continue to rise and the potential for shoreline flooding increases.

The City of North Bay has made sand and sandbags available starting this weekend as the potential for flooding along the Lake Nipissing shoreline increases. Officials say filling stations will be set up at Sunset Park at the end of Sunset Boulevard, and Champlain Park at the end of Premier Road.
