North Bay Mayor Al McDonald says the local taxpayers association is inflating the City’s spending numbers. Association spokesman Don Rennick says, not counting police or the ABC’s, salaries in the city have increased by $8 million since 2009.
Rennick says the amount is two-and-half-times above the inflation rate. However McDonald took exception to the number saying Rennick inflated them to the tune of about $944,000.
In response, Rennick said he’s using numbers available to him which were correct for his purposes, a comment that McDonald agreed with.
