The North Bay Police Service has announced the launch of the No Gang Colours/No Gang Clothing initiative.
The initiative is a partnership with the local branch of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and participating local establishments.
North Bay Police Chief Shawn Devine says the collective goal is to make it clear that organized crime, gang activity and gang intimidation are not welcome in North Bay.
Anyone who enters these establishments wearing anything that identifies them as part of a gang will be in violation of house rules, similar to a no shirt, no shoes, no service policy.
