A 15-year-old teenager faces 16 charges from various police agencies in the northeast following the theft of a truck and high speed chase. The incident started in Larder Lake where a pick-up truck was stolen and ended in West Nipissing where municipal police caught the teen.
In between, the teenager stole gas in Temiskaming, eluded the North Bay OPP and city police in a high speed pursuit and then headed toward Sturgeon Falls. Among the charges the teenager faces are theft of motor vehicle laid by the Kirkland Lake OPP.
Also, the North Bay OPP, North Bay city police and West Nipissing police have all charged the teen with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
