Winter boot donation campaign returns

The Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay is once again holding its Winter Boot Campaign.

Officials say they’re collecting essential items to ensure people experiencing homelessness survive the cold winter months.

Thermal socks, hats, mitts and scarves are all on the list. You can also sponsor a pair of winter boots.

Drop offs will be accepted on Saturday, Nov. 1st from 10 am until 2 pm at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption garages on McIntyre West.
