Two local primary care teams are growing thanks to provincial funding.
Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced $1.2 million for the North Bay Indigenous Hub to attach 1,076 patients to a primary care provider.
Over $360,000 goes to the Blue Sky Family Health Team.
They’ll connect 473 patients to a primary care provider.
“This support has brought the province one step closer to ensuring that everyone in Ontario has access to the right care, in the right place, at right time,” says MPP Vic Fedeli.
The investment was funded by the latest call for proposals, with 124 teams across Ontario receiving funding to connect another 500,000 patients to primary care.
